Response to COVID-19
We are acutely aware of the impact that the COVID-19 outbreak is having on our customers, with recent plant closures throughout Europe and now also in North America. An unprecedented number of plants, particularly in the automotive industry, are now closed. How long this will last and to what extent it will continue is highly uncertain.
We want to reassure our customers that we are ready to support you through these times of uncertainty. The health and safety of our employees is and has been our primary concern. We were swift to enact preventative measures like enabling our employees to work remotely and practicing good hygiene and sanitation in our plants.
As the outbreak has spread, we have mobilized global and local task force teams at each of our production facilities, first in China and now throughout our production network. To ensure the health and well-being of our employees is a big part of their remit but also to balance capacity.
